PROJECT: 0019KY-72025
Opportunities for the Vulnerable in Guatemala
In many Guatemalan communities, youth face limited prospects and are often trapped in a cycle of poverty. Without intervention, they risk falling into unemployment, crime, or despair. This initiative will provide vulnerable young people with the opportunity to learn essential trades that can lead directly to sustainable employment or small business creation.
The program will train 100 students in its first year, combining technical instruction with character development and mentorship. Each participant will receive practical training in their chosen field, as well as guidance in entrepreneurship, teamwork, and personal growth.
This project will provide far more than vocational skills—it will offer dignity, purpose, and hope. As these students gain certification and secure jobs, they will not only improve their own lives but also uplift their families and communities.
