Ghana - Water Well Project

Hi, I am Father Peter Sutinga, Pastor of St. Anthony’s church of Padua in Ghana. First, I want to thank all the wonderful donors for assisting us to drill a water well in Ghana. It has served many people from miles away, but now I am asking that we receive two more water wells as the need is overwhelming serving many villages. We would be so grateful for these water wells to help the community with cooking, bathing and sanitation. Many blessings to you and your family for your kind generosity.

Mother of Mercy Children’s Welfare Home

In Ghana, there are so many children who are left as Orphans in streets, homes, and hospitals because of the loss of their fathers or mothers at a very tender age, some of whom are children of illegal sexual relationship. This problem occurs because of poverty related issues. Some of these children are even abandoned in toilets, roadsides and the bushes and left to the mercy of the weather. So, the Archdiocese of Kumasi has therefore embarked on a massive campaign for the improvement of the health care delivery system and the general living standards of the people especially children through education and the establishment of orphanages.

Harmony Memorial Benevolent Fund

It was a magical moment for new parents Justin Wong and Michaelia Morris when they welcomed their firstborn, beautiful baby girl Harmony, to the world on July 16. But days after her birth, the unthinkable happened as the baby developed complications. Tests revealed she had a congenital heart defect, Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS). Harmony was to receive surgery in the United States, but unfortunately died the night before she was to arrive in the US.

Please assist other children waiting for surgery by donating generously.

Raje's Stem Cell Implant Surgery

Raje who is 12 years old and lives in Jamaica has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Raje is in desperate need to receive a stem cell transplant (SCT).  It has been determined that Raje is a good candidate to undergo autologous stem cell transplant where the patient’s own stem cells are used the fight the cancer.  Raje has been receiving a high dose chemo to prepare his body to receive his own stem cells back to him.  Raje will be receiving his treatment at the University of Miami Sylvester Cancer Center.  The cost of the treatment is very expensive, and we will also be assisting Raje and his mother Vanessa, with travel costs, food and lodging.  Please help us give Raje a fighting chance to combat and cure his cancer.

Please give generously.
